We want you to enjoy all the benefits of Natural Gas, a gas which is convenient, clean and versatile fuel. But like all fuels it must be handled wisely to ensure safety and efficiency.
FIRST KNOW YOUR GAS
- Natural Gas is lighter than air, in case of leak vents upwards.
- Natural Gas is colourless & odorless gas, however for your safety an odorant is mixed for leak detection.
- Please get your rubber tube replaced with "SURAKSHA" hose by authorized representative of HNG and keep regular check for any crack,damage etc. Immediately inform HNGPLin case of any crack, damage
TIPS FOR YOUR SAFETY
1. Check whether PNG pipe is concealed/ covered under cupboard in your kitchen. If yes, please get it shifted to a well-ventilated place, else leaked gas if any, may accumulate & pose danger.
2. Make it a practice to keep the Appliance Valve (connecting gas supply through SURAKSHA hose) closed after use.
3. Meter control valve should be turned off if your house is to remain closed for more than a day.
